If gasoline was reasonable with adequate supply, why would we drill offshore?

We wouldn't and didn't need to. So when you hippies say bush's daddy stopped drilling. He did but I bet money if oil was going up a couple a bucks a day he might change his mind like the rest of the country. So the hippie argument that, "well bush did it" won't work cause NOW, unlike then, we need to drill, so we can drive our kids to school and grow corn. If Clinton would've signed the law allowing drilling instead of vetoing it like he did, we would AT LEAST be in a better position. Republican, and the american people, are smart enough to see we need to drill and the hippies who campaign on "change" want the status quo. What a screwed up world we live in.
