Gum erasers are good for getting rid of charcoal. Also, pink pearl erasers are pretty good if you don't want to pick up all the charcoal. I also like using either a wash cloth or chamois cloth for wiping out charcoal. Be careful with a chamois cloth as it takes off charcoal very easily!

Generic is good, because if your main character is generic, people can connect. But too much and she becomes boring. Even with the description try using different words. "Colorful balloons and banners everywhere" and "posters and balloons hung all over" are similar and "balloons" is used twice. What is Alice thinking as she's led to the tent? Besides terror, that is. Does she realize that it's a circus? With the tents, it's pretty obvious, but describe them. There's more than one kind. But hey, I like the plot line. The word 'circus' gives me creeps.

I have been trying to do good driving and not getting any tickets, but I got one the other day, says on the ticket speed of 70 in a 55. Also says G.S. 20-141(B)(G) but I do not understand what that means? It was my first day in the rental car(not used to it at all) with a truck right behind me and a car beside of me going down a hill on I 40, I was unaware of the speed and he said he clocked me at 74 but was writing the ticket for 70. When i was 18 i got wreckless driving for a stupid burnout and a speeding ticket 10 over an some stupid one point unsafe movement between the ages of 16 and 18. I am 21 now. I just cant believe this. Can dogs hate one another?

My boyfriends family owns two dogs, Both are female, both are spayed. The first dog is a chow/border collie they adopted a few years ago. she was abused, but always very good with the family. two years later they adopted a wolf/chow from the shelter, and she was just a pup, and the two dogs Bobbie (the border collie mix) & Nana (wolf mix) got along VERY well. When Nana was about one year old, they started to bicker a bit, but nothing serious. The fights became more and more vicious, now to the point where these two dogs can never be in the same room together or given access to one another. even if they see eachother from the windows or smell eachother on the other side of the doors they just go crazy. they're BOTH fine with other dogs. Even my dog who's ALSO a female, they really enjoy playing with her. Is it possible they just hate eachother? Is there anyway to make them get along? we've tried everything. It's a brutal battle anytime they get together. Nana is much faster, stronger, and more ferocious than Bobbie, and if they ever managed to get to one another while no one was home, there is no doubt that Nana could kill Bobbie...

What upgrades are reccomended for my spyder rodeo paintball marker?

okay so im a complete noob to paintball and i recently acquired a spyder rodeo. i took it to a paintball field the other day and sat through their saftey seminar and everything. afterwards i sat and watched two teams duke it out... i noticed that the guns that the players were using had modified barrels, stocks, grips, and the like. the course doesnt allow for modified triggers so i know that there are rocker triggers available but i dont realy need a trigger upgrade. im more interested in getting my gun to shoot more accurately...im uming this is accomplished with the barrel. if anyone has any suggestions for upgrades for a spyder rodeo... id greatly appreciate the input.

I'm curious why women choose not to feed who can. Medically (no milk allergies, no inverted or not enough milk, etc.) studies say probably 95% of women can feed. If this is the case and it is the healthiest for baby, why don't more women do it? Just curious. (And yes, I do, I have a 4 month year old who is fed and I'm a full-time working mom). It is natural in my opinion. I know medical reasons hinder it. Yet, I think women give up too quickly. As for time, I am a college-educated working mother who has to pump so I know it can be done. If science shows it helps immunity and is best for the baby and you can physically do it, isn't that enough? I'm not trying to judge. I have friends who formula feed, just curious to WHY that decision would override all the benefits.

well, my husband and i knew from the beginning he wouldn't be there for the delivery, and i was fine with it until just today...lol... my due date, and now i feel really alone with him not here, and i just hope i don't freak out when i go into labor! any advice? or anyone have to go through the same thing? i just need some uplifting words i think... i'm tired of hearing people say "aren't u so sad that he won't be there for u" ............well, i wouldn't be as sad if people would stop bringing it up! lol.... my husband and i have a strong relationship but i'm starting to wonder if maybe i should have stayed overseas to have the baby now that i'm feeling like this....do u think i will get over it once the baby gets here?

During construction using post-tension slab, a problem has required an extensive hole to be made in the slab.?

I am thinking about enrolling my son in Job Corps, and was reviewing the website. I have however, had two people share with me that their children did not like the program and ended up coming back home - one parent shared with me that after she dropped her son off at a center, she spent the night with family in that state and then headed home and her son had beat her home and was waiting for her...and it was a bad experience for their children. When buying meat, if the date says best before ...... how long can you keep it in the frig before cooking?

Why can't my droid incredible find system updates?

I got my phone when it first came out, used it normally, upgraded to froyo, then decided to root. I had no problems for months. It went back to "factory defaults" and everything works fine, except that it can't seem to find updates. It syncs, updates apps and everything just fine, but as far as system updates, it is perpetually "Up to date." I have tried to factory reset from the phone twice, which works as it should, but the problem remains. I really miss the features from froyo, and in general just want my phone back in working order. What causes dead baby moles in Michigan?

In the past two summer months, I have seen about five or six dead baby moles on three or four acres of wooded countryside property in MI. They are .75 to two inches long, not counting the tail of .5 to 1.5 inches long. They don't have any bite marks or obvious physical damage, and other predators don't seem to eat their bodies. I don't see any dead adult moles. I never used to see dead moles, and still don't see other dead animals (we have live deer, rabbits, woodchucks, turkeys, etc.). Could they be poisoned somehow? Many hundred yards away (e.g., at the neighbors) lawn treatments might be applied, but nowhere close to where I find the bodies. What would kill the babies but not adults? Phlegm in throat is starting to ruin my life.?

For the past couple months I've been noticing a mucous like build up in my throat. I always feel like there is something in my throat and am constantly clearing it. It really gets severe after I eat. About 5 min. after I eat a meal I get a lot of phlegm built up and I have to cough and gag for about 20 min. untill I get it out. It subdues back into just a feeling of something in my throat after that. I've always had really bad allergies so Im sure it's sinus or allergy related. I went to the doctor and got a steroid shot for it and he prescribed Flonase to me. I really need more help though, I want to be normal again and be able to workout and stay up on my fitness like I use too but with this phlegm it makes it tough. I cant physical activites without getting out of breath easily and coughing and hacking. I have trouble even playing pick up games of basketball and stuff like that. This phelgm is really starting to take a toll on me. It doesn't help I have anxiety too. Anyone else experience this sorta thing or can help? Thanks. p.s. Im not a smoker and am fairly healthy.

It's nice that you use understandable English and paragraphs (however short they may be) but by chapter three you toss it all out and just have dialog. Movie-Shadows of the Dead, how bad is this movie?

Ok I have seen worse, but most I shut off after the 1st few mins. 1 for example ( and I read reviews that it wasn't that bad) was Hells Highway with Ron Jeremy( didn't know that at first)OMG! Mystery Science theature fans watch the head splitting scene in the beginning. Anyway- so many things didn't make sense about this movie- A flat tire doesn't mean you can't drive- the spare tire was no way near the size of the flat. They (mostly the chic)showed no emotion , no nothing about the whole woods experience! The make up is bad -the actors bickered since the beginning(mostly the chick bitched and blamed the guy for stuff that was her fault) But after some more bickering , she says it was the worst fight ever. Why do people always kick you when you're down? I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I know a person who is about 18 and go back to highschool to finish for her diploma. She lives at home and will be moving out within a month and no one will help her watch her 3 month old baby for a month and a half so she can go back in Sept instead of Jan so she can graduate next spring. Her parents work full time and she's really having a tough time moving on to get her life on track because no one seems to 'want' to help her. She will be living on student welfare and can get subsidized daycare when she does get on her own, but they won't help her until she's on her own. I will be having my baby on Sept 15, but I've offered to care for the baby for free (she provides made up bottles, diapers and other things the baby needs) until the end of Oct when she can get the subsidized daycare in place, along with my 22 month old daughter. I am curious if there is anything else besides a swing, bouncy chair, playpen/binette and some baby toys, mat to play on with toys on it that I may need or any other suggestions/advice I could use. I took my Lab walking in the woods a couple of weeks ago and usually he loves it. However this time he got very upset and uneasy. Usually when he does not want me to do something he will get infront of me or jump on me, so when started to do this I thought he wanted to go home because he was tired. So I made him go on, as we rounded the corner his behavior got worse and i started to joke with him that he was a lazt bum, but I was wrong. There were several coyotes with a animal they had killed, and were fighting over. Two of them started to stalk us and were growling. I use a crutch to walk and there was no way I was getting away quickly. My Lab is a typical fun loving Lab who loves everything including wildlife. But this time my usually timid happy go lucky dog became nasty. He got infront of me and great scary vicious and actually stood his ground to the coyotes. My instant plan was to let him go, thinking he would run home in fear and I would face the animals. But he would not have it, he was going to protect me at all cost. He was a great deal bigger than them, he is 116 lbs but there was a pack of them. I started to scream and throw things at them which only pushed them back, and my dog kept backing up as to push me back but stayed face to face with them. Well they did back down, but I learned two things LISTEN to my dog, and that he will aways protect me.

I have a new puppy that would not touch the food that she was being fed at the store I bought her at after she ate the food that my mom's dog eats, so now she gets fed the kind that she will eat mixed with the other. What do i do if the cement board doesn't line up with the exiting drywall?

my fibergl shower pan was cracked and my tiles were coming off. so I took out the tiles and greenboard, and replaced the shower pan. unfortunately, they do not carry the same size of shower pan - I am short about 1/4 inch on all sides. what do I do in order to line up the cement board with the existing drywall? i only plan to replace the area where the old tiles were. i am afraid I have to tear down all the drywall but I really don't want to. thanks.

I just got my teeth whitened with the zoom treatment and I was curious if I eat cashews or Pistachios or any nut almonds basil nut ect stain teeth? I've been going to the gym for a little over 2 months, and have lost 5lbs. My goal is about 10-15 more. i'm 125lbs on the dot. i'm scared though, that instead of toning, i'm building too much muscle. So when working out, or even eating differently, how do i burn more fat, and gain less muscle? Firefox help?

I'm having a big problem reading different scripts/fonts on Firefox. I just don't know what happened or what I might have done. It's all in the character encoding, where I can't read Russian Cyrillic script unless I have it set to auto-detect Russian. I want to be able to have it set to auto-detect Universal so that it will detect any language scripts/fonts but it doesn't seem to work. When I set it to auto-detect Universal all it does is go to Western (windows-1252) encoding all the time instead of any other encoding. Is there anyway to set the character encoding so it would pick up other language scripts/fonts other than just individually picking up the one you specifically have selected other than the language the website was written in. I mean I have friends in Russia, Ukraine and Israel and it's quite annoying having to manually switch the encoding setting to be able to read their emails.

My house has a full poured concrete basement..1/2 garage 1/2 storage,etc. I just had my basement walls anchored with steel pier anchors and new drain tile reinstalled. Which they open into my driveway area which is gravel. I have a 1tb Western Digital external HD. It always used to come up under "My Computer" as "My Book", the E: drive. I just went to go open it up and it was no longer there. Can a koi fish be kept in a tank?

If you're going to get koi you're going to need a pond down the road. You're right, they are indefinite growers, they can also live to 75 years old so you need to do some serious research before deciding you're going to get them. The rule of thumb for fish is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water, so if you have a 20 gallon tank you can have 20 1inch fish or 5 4inch fish or 4 5inch fish, you get the idea. But generally you should buy the tank big enough for the fish for when they're done growing and since koi can be a couple feet long you might want to find a bigger tank. Temperature for koi is usually room temperature but if you get a heater and set it to one temperature, maybe 70-75 degrees, that will keep the tank from heating up too much or cooling down too much which can happen when seasons change or the front door is opened too much or if the tank is too close to a heat source. As for decorations, that's up to you but usually freshwater fish owners put gravel or rocks in the bottom and a few big pieces of ornaments or rocks or whatever for shelter. Make sure you get an air pump and a filter, koi tend to make a lot of waste and will need regular water cleanings, usually once a week is good. Make sure to cycle the tank before you put the fish in, so fill it with water, put in the water conditioner (yes, you need this too, otherwise the fish will die) and a pinch of fish food and leave the tank alone for a week. The reason for this is you need to establish some bacteria for the fish to survive. When cleaning the water you'll need a gravel vacuum and a bucket, pretty much all you do is syphon out 25% of the water and mix new water (with water conditioner) to go back in the tank. Snails will help clean the algae off the tank but you'll need some algae before you can add snails or they won't survive since that's their main diet. Do some research online or check out aquarium books at a book store, that should help answer any questions you have. Or you can email me if you have anything else you want to know!
