Why do Christians promote Jesus for sale?

Why is it that some Christians buy into things that are Jesus related. Do you not believe that buying a Christian album for 20 dollars is just taking God and making a quick buck off of him? Turning Jesus into commodity does not seem like it is something that religion as an idea is supposed to promote. All answers are appreciated, thank you and I am not trying to offend anyone just want o hear why people buy into this thing.
