How come women/girls like men with low voices?

It's not that I want the men to sound like women but men with REALLY low voices (b voices) gross me out! I think b voices are growling and ugly, without any melody. I also think "potential wife beater, or rapist" when I hear a b voice. I do like the barytone and the tenor voices, but I find b voices very creepy. They just remind me of the "bad stereotypes" of men. How can women be attracted to low b voices?
