I think you are mixing up Jesus with Christ. Many english bible translations do that, as well. As well as many christian sects. Jesus is a nickname given to the man by his disciples. Jesus (aka Jezeus) means "pure spirit." Christ is one of the names of God. When Jesus was imbued with the spirit of Christ, he was Jesus Christ.
